Enhancing Leadership
We believe leadership can be nurtured, developed and improved within the right environment given a positive mindset, and appropriate experiences, feedback and support. In our experience building good leadership requires a desire to challenge and push oneself to the boundaries of what you know and how you view the world and requires self-awareness, courage, empathy, and the willingness to empower others.
Our approach to executive coaching is to adopt a holistic view to really understand the client and their context, and through a challenging but supportive process, we help explore their boundaries and ways of thinking to help develop new perspectives and innovative and creative solutions to the complex challenges confronting these leaders.

In our view high performance teams are focussed on delivering superior and sustainable results and require an environment of trust, a commitment to an aligned purpose and way of operating, and a willingness to embrace constructive conflict.
On occasions “competing agendas” among leadership team members may create conflict. Rather than this becoming a battleground to be won or an area to avoid, embracing this conflict and seeing differences as valuable opportunities to explore, may enable more creative, diverse and innovative solutions.

Cultural Development and Alignment
We believe organisations that have clarity on their cultural dimensions and strong alignment through the organisation are better able to successfully execute strategy.
In our experience this requires a clarity of purpose, vision, values and behaviours, initially owned by the lead team, and which is lived through their beliefs, words and actions.
Driving cultural alignment can be further facilitated by a combination of symbols and rituals and establishing behavioural norms, supported through performance management systems. This helps create an environment where strategy can be brought to life and executed in a meaningful and purposeful context, where everybody knows their roles and how they are expected to behave in executing the strategy.

Change is a constant however it may often be a stressful experience for many involved. We believe successful organisation change programs require clarity on the purpose and strategic imperative, ideally a focus on value creation, a deep understanding of the implications on people and culture, a strong communication programme and executional excellence.
In our experience a clear strategy and execution plan is important, however success often rides on identifying the key individuals in the organisation who are change champions, and just importantly the change resistors who are the most influential.
